wonder why they don't tear down all the old buildings at UVA and start over so kids will get better educated ? New buildings don't educate any better.
1. Ppl. keep forgetting (or don't realize) major renovations can't be done in 10 weeks. P
2. Has anyone said "if x Million in renovations are done", how much longer the buildings will be viable? If $50 Mil. extends them, say, 20 years, and $70 mil builds 3 new, good-for-50-years buildings, this would be a bad trade-off.

With closing down three schools, will that free up enough money to build new schools?
That seems to be the best option. Have the kids in the old schools for another year or two, then build the three new schools. Once they find locations, they should start building ASAP to get them done. These old schools are terrible, they need new schools. Renovating is only a patch, it fixes nothing.
I just hope this goes thru. Its been 10 years now, its way past time to get something done.

WHY WOULD YOU?????
****, I have never seen pure blindness in my life. Why would you choose to fix up old schools several times rather than build brand new ones once? And the whole point of, WE CAN'T AFFORD TO KEEP 6 SCHOOLS FOR 2200 KIDS OPEN, completely goes over your heads.
Are you really asking me how they could manage to run them for 2 years and but can't forever?
Perry is way smarter than you are BAMA Man.
